Grooby, Yanks Ink Website Management Deal

LOS ANGELES — Grooby will begin managing Yanks.com under a new company, Blue.xxx.

Yanks is the first site to be managed under Blue.xxx, which is powered by the team behind Grooby. The new company aims to work with like-minded content producers, providing them with back-end support, hosting, marketing and related services.

The arrangement, a rep explained, “allows the website owners to focus on the creation of award-winning content and an excellent customer experience.”

Yanks co-owner Billie said, “Beyond the infrastructure support Grooby brings us, Steven and his team share our values. It was nonnegotiable to have a partner who would not ask us to adjust our moral compass with our producers, performers, affiliates and customers to chase a higher margin. Grooby and Yanks are in lockstep on the way we approach the industry in regard to being profitable and yet operating with the highest ethical standards.”

Yanks co-founder Todd added, “As the industry has continued to consolidate, competing as an indie site has become more and more challenging. For a number of years, we have kept our eyes open for a strategic partnership that makes sense, which would allow us to focus on our strength of producing great organic content while taking advantage of a larger company’s economies of scale. When Steven and Grooby approached us with just such an opportunity, we jumped at the chance.”

Steven Grooby said, “We wanted to take our team’s 28 years of experience in running paysites and apply it to other companies with smaller teams, enabling us to help them with the difficulties of competing in today's paysite market. Yanks was the perfect fit for us to work with. They have built one of the most respected brands in the online adult space and were looking for a partner who aligned with their own ideals and values, which fit Grooby's ethos perfectly. This partnership allows Billie and Todd to continue to focus on content production and marketing, while we focus on the running of the sites. This is an exciting time for all of us.”

Yanks is offering a special promotion for new and existing affiliates in celebration of the announcement.
